Backyard Flowers, Grown with Love

The Country Club Flower Patch is your source for locally grown, garden-style bouquets from Mid-March through late October.

From ranunculus and specialty tulips in the spring, to dahlias and sunflowers in the fall, purchasing local flowers allows you to enjoy blooms you will rarely see in a grocery store or traditional bouquet.

Becoming a Flower Farmer… Accidentally

Hi! I’m Angela! All my life I have loved flowers. As a girl, my favorite time of year was early May, when my mom and I would go to the local greenhouse to pick out summer annuals to fill our porch containers. As an adult, I grew a small garden with vegetables, zinnias, tulips, and a few dahlias.

Everything changed in 2022, when I purchased a bouquet containing a spray of cute, daisy-like flowers. I looked it up, learned that it is a popular crop with flower farmers, and completely fell down the rabbit hole of growing cut flowers. (It was “Vegmo Single” Feverfew, by the way!)

2023 saw me digging up portions of my backyard, starting hundreds of seeds, spending countless hours working outside, learning a LOT, and launching my business.

THANK YOU to all who have supported this little business by purchasing my flowers and spreading the word. I am SO grateful to call myself an accidental flower farmer.
